Magellan explorist 500

Just got my first hand held GPS and now find I need to invest in a map software to do what I had planned on doing. I was going to save way-points of historical nature and apply them to modern map to print out from computer. However the Mapsend software is another $80, for maps to show county roads and towns. Are there any alternatives, as the topog map software has way more features than I really need.

The shareware version has limited features but should do what you need. On internet, you can find some half decent, free maps for the US that will work with ozi.
