When you step on them, the fluid squirts out and what is left is a deflated sac.

Here are my needs. I am 6 ft, 200 lbs and have a few minor physical issues with my left wrist, neck and left knee, as I am pushing 50. I would like something that is somewhat light, yet durable. I plan to use it in wet/dry sand and shallow water. I will use it around non-rocky bottoms and would like to be able to use the bottom of my foot on the scoop to dig with when needed. Also, a hand grip half way up would be nice too. What about a rig for dragging/pulling it? Any ideas? Do they make adjustable ones and how do they work? Finally, not that price alone would determine a decision, it would be nice to find one that isn't too expensive.
I half-heartedly searched for a post on this matter to no avail, so if any of you would be so kind as to give me your 2 cents on What model and Where I can order a scoop that would fit my needs, it would greatly appreciated, as I need it to get one ordered asap. If you can use no DISC and Sensitivity at maximum at 10.

Air tests for dimes, nickels or quarters would be really appreciated so I can compare to my model.

Does anyone know if the 1280X goes deeper in ground than air test?

Thought I would post this to see if anyone is familiar with this. I found this chain this weekend and thought it was silver but now have my doubts. It is marked "Made in Italy" The only other markings are "T1" on either sided of the clasp. No "925" marking anywhere. When I got home and washed it I noticed small flakes of plating on my hands which is not usually a good sign. The base metal looks a lot like silver but it may be some other metal. An Internet search provided little help in identifying what the T1 markings meant. The T1 could possibly be TI which may mean titanium. Just not sure. So, I'm throwing myself on the mercy of the court. Does anybody know what this is?

We had a limo ride over the dune by Mr Chris Duval thanks

We met up with Todd and my old buddy Guy. - got to me Rick and then Capt. Seaweed and his beachmobile moved us north and south the rest of the day and then back over the dune.

Thank you Capt Ray, u were a very gracious host and I know I speak for tim and david.

Now let me tell u about this OBX water snake.................OMG..................u ever seen one ?? - my first encounter with one. I hope ray or chris got some pics of it.

The dune line is cut like va beach's bay section and much lumber and boards are everywhere. Ray said what we saw today was really nothing, he said many many people have been hauling it away by the truck load for two straight days. We say several trucks and trailers loaded today. I guess someone on the OBX is building a big arc.

I found out what later would become a bookmarker................little silver pin and earring and the lots of the normal beach loot.............clad and sinkers.

Have to go back to work tuesday for a rest.

Went just north of where I found the ring and bracelet yesterday, and found three silver rings and a silver neck piece. as I was digging up the one ring, these two knock out girls stopped and ask what I just found. I said a large silver ring, the one girl looked at it and said if it says Tiffany & Co. inside, it's worth a lot of money. well I got it home and sure enough, that's what's inside. It weighs 11.3 grams. As Rick from Florida says, WOOHOO! That makes seven silver in two days. If that don't sell another Excal II for Kellyco, I don't know what will. Met Joe and Bill from Sussex County. Joe told me last night was great and he picked up lots of silver, but starting later last night about 3-4 foot of sand had moved in. Great talking to you guys.

I found a few coins, 1 gold earring and 1 silver earring, but to see at least 15-20 hunters on the beach was a crazy site !

The sand looked like drifts from a snow storm. Some areas piled high, others cut. Every where I walked the sand was soft, even at the bottom of the cuts and ankle deep at low tide. Made for a work out. There was a lot of lumber in the water, so that was a no go zone.

Saw one probably junk ring, but may have been silver, and one report of a gold ring.

For me, some change, couple of tokens and some cheap jewelry. The little soccer ball may be silver; ID'd like it and is heavy for it's size. The other little round ball had a stainless earring post on it that broke off in the pouch. That ID'd as nickle, but looks like pot metal with most of coating worn away. Bracelet is copper with most of plating gone.

One area had some large shells; and I did not have a bucket, so I filled my pockets.

Hope those who can get out as the beach settles down can find some hot spots ... and check out the areas a little north when the bridge opens!
