I guess it could be a measuring device for the flask as they did have such an item. As to your musket balls, it is not uncommon to find chewed balls like yours. However, it is not the humans who usually do the chewing but rodents and hogs. Your coin button is kind of hard to date without seeing the backmark, but most of those seem to come from the 1850s era. Nice bunch of finds you have there.]]></description>
