Anyone using a Maxxima 1500 coil? I have an xl pro too, waiting for the tone mod to become available again. There is (I think still) a coil bracket available from Whites, though it looks like you won't need it hunting in fields. Good luck again, let us know how you make out.

That 15" coil should reach down to China in all-metal, it was a favorite of the relic hunters back east. This coil mounted on a 5900 Di Pro SL was legendary:please:

I think I'll stick with the small coils on my 6000/5900 they go deep enough for me.
