<description> I noticed a red wire has come lose on one of the connectors is this an easy fix or do i have to have the connector replaced? Should be the first suspect to check if you detector fails to beep when turned on.<br />Most of these type connectors wires are just crimped tite to the contacts, not soldered. Since they are mass produced, there's<br />a good chance of getting one with the contact wire barely crimped that eventually falls off the contact.<br />If your careful you can solder the contact and wire together and not melt the plastic portion.]]></description>

Or, maybe crimp it with needle nose pliers, a dab of solder maybe? Hard to tell without seeing it, but it isn't a hard fix either way]]></description>
