<title>Finding unknown claims</title><link>http://www.findmall.com/read.php?69,1118474,1879920#msg-1879920</link><description><![CDATA[ Does anyone know how to find on line, the location (lat and long) and name (claim number) of existing mining claims in a given area? Up until May 2011, the BLM kept their "GeoCommunicator" web site updated and available to the public to use. Now they have deleted that search function (part of Obama's war on our rights I suspect). If one knows the claim number first you can find it, but how do you check on an area to avoid becoming a claim jumper without driving hours to one of their offices to look it up?<br />Thanks]]></description>
