SE 10" Slimline Coil vs Other Coil Options

I have an Explorer SE with the 10" Slimline coil. A lot of folks are saying that the SEF or Minelab Pro coils are vastly better. Is this true? I seem to be doing OK with the old slimline coil and am torn over going through the trouble of upgrading. My buddy is running an Explorer II with the 12x10 SEF and we occasionally check each others targets. So far we have both been able to detect and pinpoint the same.

I have the SE with the Slimline and SEF. There is obvious depth and separation differences. A lot of people just never liked the slimline..... in fact the 10 inch that came with the Exp II was the coil of choice and was selling hot until the Pro and SEFs came out. But i agree with Bryce dont fix what may not be broken. It may just be the right ticket in you area since results would very based on location.
