Running 20khz it should be decent, surprised no one has any info.

Gold chains are hard to find unless they have something attached to them a higher freq of 20 is needed just for the chain maybe if it is balled up it 20 will catch it

18.4khz gets a fine gold chain, 20khz should do good!

If it can't get a few inches in an air test, it won't do any better in ground, it gives a guide.
