Wow, so a little back story about 6 months ago my racer 1 was destroyed by leaked AA batteries or so I thought I kinda messed with it then and just now got around to playing with it again cause I found it in my garage and thought what the heck took some baking soda and water and used Q tips to kinda scrub the remaining battery acid corrosion off the circuit board and the battery compartment and machine roared back to life I guess I got lucky I had wrote it off for being garbage and the price to get replacement part was as much as a new machine so this works great for me.

That's awesome!!!
Many thing any liquids are bad for circuit boards but in reality, with no power to them, water/liquids can't hurt them. Only catch is they need to be completely dry before putting power back to them.
