I have been using Detector Pro products for a few years now and love the depth I get from the pin pointers. I have a pocket uniprobe and a pistol probe. I shut the car door on the pistol probe and broke the snout off, but it still works. I ended up gluing it back on and it works fine. I decided to get a new pistol probe and use the first one as backup. The new one started acting up and would quit on me during several hunts. It always seemed to happened when I was in hot pursuit of a target in the hole and then there I was no pin pointer. I talked to Gary Storm at Detector Pro and he gave me a couple ideas to try and if it didn't work he said to send it in. They had the unit for a couple weeks trying to simulate my problem and could not. It's hard to fix something if it won't act up. I suggested they keep it longer and keep trying as I knew I would most likely have the problem again. Friday I received a new pistol probe from them. To me that says a lot about Gary and his company replacing a problem unit that they couldn't find a problem with, with a brand new pistol probe.
