Headhunter Wader or PiratePRO?

Hi, one of my first posts on this forum.

I have a question about Headhunter Wader and PiratePro. I have tried to find out which one of them is better for a serious treasure hunter who wants to wade and dig all that underwater gold and silver from swimming holes. I think the main difference that I am interested in is the depth at which they find stuff. Otherwise they seem similar in design and features (sens, disc and vol). How about it, does anyone have any opinions on which one is a deeper machine? And just to make things clear, I am not interested in HH PI which would be deep as I want discrimination in my detector.

Thanks :)

Good question Patti.

I think depth wise they are pretty much the same but I could be wrong since I never used the Pirate Pro.

Outside of that, the 2 main differences are that the Wader is water proof to 6 feet and has the ability to swap 8 and 10 inch coils.

If you don't need the abilities of the Wader, then I would think the Pirate Pro would be fine.

Your correct, although I might add the Wader is waterproof, the Pirate is NOT.

Thank you for your answers. In fact I hadn't noticed that PiratePro is NOT waterproof so your notes on that are much appreciated :)

I think Wader is the way to go for my needs then.

Thanks and happy hunting,

patti
