My detecting buddy and I got out for our first time on the river this year. No major rains lately and the water had dropped down enough for us to get in with our Detecor Pros! Total for the day was 2 lead sinkers, 1 medallion of some kind, 15 quarters, 9 dimes, 6 nickels, 18 pennies, 1 stainless steel ring, and 1 10K men's class ring! Yahoo !!

It's nice to be able to get back out in the water with these DP machines. I don't have the chances to get out to the saltwater beaches very often, so my detecting buddy and I have what we think is the next best thing! I am amazed at what people will enter the water with..... in their pockets or on their fingers!

At last I have managed to enclose a photo of the 1855 Sovereign that I found down the beach with my Wader when the sand was washed out to only a few inches deep. The coin is 8gms of 22 carat gold
