Took it to a popular lake heavly detected.
Ever targets it ID were taken out with a few scoops.
Was up to neck deep most of the time, targets
were scarce.
Ended up with about 7 pennies 4 nickels 1 dime 1 quarter and 3 pull tabs
most of these were blackened so were there for a while.
I was hopng for some nice ring but was not to be.
Swung it for 3 hours. Was nice to be out if nothing else.

Joel,
Sounds like a fun hunt. I've got a spot that continues to produce black encrusted pull tabs; but the last ring I pulled from this spot was two years ago. Every one of the ugly tabs has me thinking there must be another nice ring waiting to be found.
Cheers,
tvr

Hang in there Joel.....keep working this spot & it will pay off....HH...Tab.N/T

On our beaches I have realised that if you are finding pull tabs and copper coins with the Wader the sand is too deep as anything good is a long way down. So I go back to the rocks. Went to a local beach the other day and the sand was at least another 3ft deep from the last visit.
But at least we had good days out.
