2ND SILVER & GOLD IN 2 DAYS

Tried 2 new lakes today. First one produced 3 junk rings and some clad. Second virtually nothing a couple of clad. Went back to the lake I found my first silver & gold ring yesterday.Very few signals and was considering leaving when I got a very faint change in the threshold so I dug 2 or 3 scoops in in the scoop was a ring. The ring itself was very old fashioned in design with a ruby or garnet in it.I'm quite sure that it has been there for some time. This lake is hunted constantly. I was really pleased to learn that it is sterling silver with 14K gold on each side of the stone. I am starting to find some rings that I believe are out of the standard vlf range detectors including my main machine the excaliber. I posted on the forums earlier and people thought I was crazy for wanting to get a pulse to hunt fresh water. My thought at the time was I will have to dig a lot of junk, but I will find some deep heavy gold rings or chains.I believe I am correct and will in time learn this pulse so I will find some of that elusive heavy gold down deep in the sand. By the way this is a great machine and is really deep and really sensitive.

Congrats on the nice rings.
You did the right think in buying that pulse.
Who cares what others say its your call and you did well by it.
I use the one with the 11 inch coil which is a deep one.
Its the best kept secret to own that pulse .

Thanks for your feedback Joel. How have you done with your pulse this year? I have the 11" as well but bought the 8" until I get the hang of the pinpointing just because it is so deep. Initially I was having a hard time trying to figure out if I was missing the target or it was just deeper. Keep me posted. There doesn't seem to be much posting on this forum for some reason? Take care
