Things have gotten awfully quiet on this forum.

Has anyone started hunting again or has the Spring thaw not quite arrived in your neck of the woods?

Nothing going on. There weren't any storms and lots of the beaches got sanded in. More targets in the darn dry sand than wet.

Whta kind of depth are you getting consistently in the dry sand? Just curious.

Lake just started thawing. Cold snap has now flash frozen it once again.

It is the same over here, the weather has suddenly changed, last week the temp hit 70f for most of the week so I spent the time clearing the garden, not all bad after raking the veg patch I found an 1883 shilling in quite good condition just laying on the surface.
Hope to get out next week as they are the longest tides of the year and I have just found a beach with black sand just beneath the surface so may find something other than fishing weights

I live in Minnesota, but the ice is out and I hope to get out possibly by tomorrow.
