I mainly hunt freshwater but when I took my Wader, with an 8in coil, to Myrtle Beach SC......I was digging coins & beer caps ( hunted with Disc Set at 0 ) around 8 inches or 2 scoops with a 5in Dia Long Handle Beach Scoop.....hope this helps......HH...Tab.
