Took the pi out but after a half hour battery's ran down, forgot to change them with fresh ones. however still got a few dollars in change. got out the wader and hit 2 knifes an a gold ring in about 45 min. rest of the day was uneventful coins an trash. my knife total is now 3 for the month. wader settings were vol 8, 0 to 1 discrm and 9 to 10 sens.

Norbyx, the knifes were deep about 10" I thought they were beer cans, of which i dig a lot of. The gold ring was about 7-9" . Had a nice smooth repeatable signal, love that sound. I never go above 1 on discm. and most of the time it's 0.

Nice tickets.......fresh or salt water......thanks....Tab.N/T

At "0" discrimination, are you in all metal mode at that point or do you still knock out iron?

No discrm but it's getting very easy to discern iron. I dig most everything though. I used to use 2-3 on disc. great but you will miss good stuff. thats the trade off. I own an excal to and i tell you its a great machine but so is the DP's and it's really hard to not use the wader because of its weight, depth and ease of use. I hunt salt water to about 3 feet also.
