looking to buy a pirate or headhunter

but is the pirate a PI as it dont say online what the internals are.
can you use wifi phones as i plan to use on land /
i need a PI right now and their range are light like my deus & dont want a lunchbox machine ....

Pirate is VLF, not pulse induction (PI). If you want a detector pro PI, you will need to find a used Head Hunter Pulse. They are not being made now.

As to using a wifi phones; since all the electronics are in the headphones as it is, I don't see much point in trying to adapt to wifi.

James....that Detector Pro PI with the 8 inch coil is a super sweet unit. Since you also have the 11 inch coil I assume you have one of the models where you can switch the coils. Awesome set up.

HI do it know somebody on the underwaterpro 12 metal detector is a nel tornado coil 12*13" that is specially designed for this machine because on the market
I can't find 2.4khz nel tornado coil just 3khz coils or this is similar with that? So I just wondering can it replace even different coil on this series ?
