My Detector Pro Pistol Pinpointer broke some years back.Actually, I lost the battery cover.

The factory wants me to send it back but isn't telling me any repair costs?

Why can't they just send me the 50 cent part?

Does anybody have a fix?

Not even sure what the battery cover looks like now, it has been so long. Am assuming it must be metal on the inside

to make for battery connections?

Tom, I sent some pics to your other message. Since they are 9 volts, all the connections are on the inside (both positive and negative terminals), so the cover just presses the batteries into the connectors. The shape is angled, and they use foam rubber for the buffer. Hope that helps :).
