On my pocket probe got some questions from some guys on the depth and volume, OK, mine air tests a new dime at 3 to 3 1/4 in,wherever i have the freq set, but on stuff in the ground seems much deeper(frozen ground) really can't check it at all .
The volume is not very high=is this normal? it seems to work well, on larger objects it really gets out there, seems OK, this normal??

Set the threshold as to just hear or don't hear the threshold. This will allow maximun depth.
On the volume, I find it to be quite loud. I guess it's how well our hearing is ???
