My partner asked if I wanted to go water hunting . It was -28 and it was in Jan in Canada. He wouldn't tell me where, just said he would take me. So anything for a water hunt when cabin fever is high and even if it is in Jan. We went to a place I have heard of but didn't know the lake never froze over because the plant pumps gazillions of gallons of hot water into the lake in the winter. It was pretty well cleaned out from other hunters being there in the fall , but it was a great day . The beach is small and the drop off comes up on you pretty quick. We could go out to about hip high befor it got a little dicie. I was quite surprised the camer even worked. My partner is in the snow and I am in the water. Have a good one and do this alot.
