Been taking the diver out on weekend to the ocean doing the dry and wet sand, this weekend all I wanted to do was dig and I went along and was swinging in the dry sand and I would hear these faint clicks or pops, so I kick about 4 to 5 inches of sand away and swung the coil over it again and BANG, the signal got real loud, I dug another 5 to 10 inches down and dug up coins, I set it at 2 too, sen all the way up and volume all the way up, dug alot of the broken signals and it was the wire to the sparklers, very thin, Ihave hunted this beach many times and came away with nothing, passing up on all the faint sounds, now I know, come on weekendsteve

If these machines tick faintly on a signal its very likely a deep one and should be investigated by removing some sand. You'll be pulling some deep goodies out now...
