That can get out-of-doors, in this heat & humidity, to metal detect. Whether it be the 'Big Lake' (Lake Michigan) or otherwise, I cannot because of the neurosis in both feet, severe sinus infection that refuses to go away, and lack of funds to go where the treasure's locat- ed. I'm not complaining nor asking for prayer but, if you wish to pray, that would be welcomed. With the cost of gas being nearly $4.00
per-gallon, it's difficult to run about on a fixed income. I'm sure many of you can relate to this situation. Turning the page of live over, I'm grateful for all God has and is doing in my life. Praise God, from Whom all blessing flow! Amen!

I am with you,S.S...........

Thank you all for your concern and prayers. Unfortunately the neuropathy (my feet) will not get better according to the foot doctor. He tells me that most people with diabetes, which I don't have, and those who had chemotherapy have this particular problem. Many years ago, I had to do chemotherapy because I contracted leukemia and along with a weakened immune system, neuropathy is one of those things that's a result of the chemotherapy. With God's grace, I can deal with those problems but it's far more difficult to deal with sinus pressure and pain. My regular doctor has tried a variety of things to solve this issue but the one thing that works I cannot do because it reacts with my blood pressure meds. Bummer! So I guess we'll have to try something else to solve the sinus pressure problems. All in all, I am grateful that I do as well as I do and won't complain, as it's simply part of life. Rather I choose to be happy and be the best I can be for God, Country, and those around me, as well as myself. By God's grace, I will carry on.

Hey Martin, I always have had luck with sinus pressure by using ice packs. The cold shrinks the pressure and makes it more comfortable.
Gas prices have been getting the best of me also.
Praying for your feet to feel better.

Re: I Envy All You Folks ...Me too, Martin, as I see the finds and remember when I could get out and go :detecting: for lost treasure and enjoy being outdoors with Jesus, but like you......
