Found a new fishing spot, and some great history

It's a fairly small lake, but is stocked with hatchery rainbow trout, just mi nits away from the busy city, also came across this shingle bolt flume,
as you can see shingle bolts would of been propelled by water from the top of the mountain to the ocean below..
I'm checking if can detect here since is around 1908, thanks for looking.

Geo, they were called shingle flumes, not sure if big logs were moved, mainly logs a few feet long, will try to research it, good question, basically they went down to the seaside and sailing ships would transport around the world. Rivers were used for the water supply.
