I know some people who skin and eat the whole frog. Like you I only ate the legs. I have seen big bullfrogs whose legs were bigger than chicken legs.

We also ate turtles (both soft shelled and hard shelled) and crayfish (called crawdads around these parts) also fresh water mussels (kinda like oysters). I loved the frogs,turtle, and crayfish....never cared much for the mussels or oysters for that matter

I wrote it like I remembered it....and I may not have remembered ALL the details of that night!

The more fun we had....the more trouble we got in! You would have been welcomed!
