For the first time in ages I got to go out to a local city park for a couple of hours earlier this week. Nothing
found to write home about. But what I found strange was the fact that I didn't dig up one pull tab. Not one! I dug up quarters,
dimes, nickles, pennies and zinkers. Lots of canslaw, a fork and a couple of odds and ends......but not one pull tab. Strange.

Maybe they have a "no drinking allowed" ordinance

That IS odd...perhaps a study of the contents you found and the location will provide the answer...Hmmm, who tears off those pulltabs anyway? I know! dirty rotten kids! Maybe you found a park that kids seldom frequent, or at least have no soda priveledges at that location...which means theres maybe some better jewelry to be found there?
