OK guys I have not Hunted in quite a while. Broke out my Metal Detectors and spent most of the afternoon figuring out the TID numbers on my Deleon. Finally found a promising place to hunt and right off the bat people were telling me about a White Haired man that had already went over the place real good. In fact I had hunted here twice myself. After spending all that time with the Deleon I used my old Golden Saber II. I only got about an hour to hunt but I found these. The Golden just barely picked them up at a little more than 6 inches. The first is a Filipinas United States of America ten cent piece with a date of 1945. The second is another Filipinas United States of America 20 cent piece dated 1918. Both are silver and both were underneath a Copper penny and a Clad Quarter. This goes to prove you should always check your holes. Anybody know what these may be worth? Pictures attached

Have you ever wondered if ? If a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would and should chuck wood. But if woodchucks can't chuck wood, they shouldn't and wouldn't chuck wood. Though were I a woodchuck, and I chucked wood, I would chuck wood with the best woodchucks that chucked wood.

A woodchuck - would chuck - as much wood - as a woodchuck - could chuck - if a woodchuck could chuck wood. But unfortunately, woodchucks do not chuck wood.

Coins from the Phillipines. Servicemen probably brought them home after WW2

If I remember correctly, the U S mint made those for the Philippines.N/T

From some reading I have done you are correct and they are marked United States of America just like our coins.

Went back to the same place yesterday with my Golden Saber and dug clad constantly. No way I am going to find any more old coins till I dig up all the clad. Sad part is that I hunted this place several times before myself and was told about someone else also hunting it. We sure missed a heck of a lot of coins. I ordered a Cortez that should be here Friday so this will be a good place for its maiden voyage.
