I usually don't relic hunt by myself because at 70 about anything can happen unexpectedly. Anyway, yesterday I went by myself to an area that was pretty much exposed from the road and the owner's home. After about 3 hours, here comes the owner. Seems like he had finished mowing his yard, took a shower, took his wife out to eat and he comes home and my car is still in his driveway and he can't see me anywhere. He starts looking for me thinking that maybe something is wrong. He finds me and breathes a sigh of relief. I thought this was very commendable for him to do this because we are living in a world now where most people don't care about their fellow man. In my book, this person is a fine gentleman !! I wish there were more people like him.

What a great world it would be if everyone cared. If everyone would just smile and ask how are you? That would be nice. It is just the little thing that can make a big difference. We all need to slow down and take the time. Think about it where are we really going?

Time sure gets away from you when you're metal detecting. You must have been finding some stuff and lost track of time.

Doc holiday232, I think that the good people, by far, outnumber the bad people. We see and hear about the bad ones on the "news" and in the papers while the good deeds and charitable activities are unpublicized. Just my opinion. Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
