Had another good weekend of detecting . . . picked up my first two Buffalo nickels for 2012 ... 1914 & 1937 ... also found a 1904 Indian cent .. '42 merc dime I found today looks like it was minted yesterday .. still has a sharp rim .. enjoy !!

WTG Dave that is a nice hunt for sure and congrats on the Buffs, Indian and Silvers.
Those are nice Buffs for sure as they have dates. Kind of a rarity as they are usually worn off.

Started out with a 840 VLF/TR. Then I have owned a 5900, 6000Di, 6000Di Pro, XLT and a DFX, CZ6 CZ6a, CZ7.
Started using in 2000 with a XS . Then I have used and owned the XS-S, SE.
I currently still swing my XS-II I bought late 2002 and have a SE-Pro as a back-up. I also have some coils and use the Sun-Ray X1 probe and DetectorPro "Grey Ghost Originals"

Been swingin' the coil since 1972
Started out in 1972 with a Jetco Detector...then the late 70's with a Whites 6000....then in 1981 went to a Bounty Hunter VLF TR 840...then in the early 1980's I went to a Whites 6000 Di Pro...mid 80's I went to a Whites Eagle II SL...Late 80's/Early 90's I went to the Whites XLT...1990's I used the Fisher CZ5, CZ6, CZ7, 7aPro, and CZ70Pro...Started using Minelabs in 1999
with a brief stint on the Musketeer while also using the CZ's...then in 2002 I switched to the Minelab Explorers and currently use an Explorer 2, SE, SEPro, and E-trac with an arsenal of coils
