Great finds Bryce, Congrats! I don't think my dog would sit still long enough for the hat picture. lolN/T

Nice hunt buddy. I think my old SE is working just fine. In fact I could buy a nice used Etrac to go along with my SE and STILL be $100's better off.

Great post and nice finds. Have you got to use or experiment with the ctx yet? Curious as to what you thought or how it compared to your explorer?

Great finds big man!! No doubt about it you are a beast when it comes to finding deep coins in iron! Truly amazing! I will never part with my SE Im more and more amazed by it every time I take it out. But I had to try the CTX.. Not because I think it will find coins my explorer wont. The real reason is because it looks like a freaking ROCKET launcher :yikes: Hey some of the places I hunt... I need all the protection I can get  Take care brother! Hope to see more finds from you soon.

Bryce-IL, great finds. I've read many request, not just here but many other forums where people, including myself would like to see a video or review from you comparing the Etrac/stock coil and the Etrac/Ulitmate 13" on some targets. Anyway you can do that?
Everyone vote, yes or no for this request.

He probably doesn't want to or it would have happened. I don't think it's cool to put someone on the spot and have people vote on it... But that's my decession.

I'll shamelessly throw in my vote, but I want to see him test the 12x10 and the Ultimate on undug targets to see if one is deeper than the other. Sorry Bryce, I'm sure your busy and have better things to do, but it can't hurt to dream a little.

Think I'm finally home after a lot of years searching for my particular needs. Custom 1.5 lb lighter :minelab:Sovereign GT (easy to do by just "building" lighter shaft) & SEF 12x10 as everyday coil. 8" Tornado (actually 7.25") as super heavy trash coil (Very deep & separates better than typical 8/9" true size coils). 13" Ultimate for large fields/beaches on certain days I want to grid faster than even the 12x10's nice improvement over stock for that. Stock 10" Tornado stays on water rig (stock shaft). :garrett: ProPointer. Owned 15x12 & SunRay S-5 (5.5") at one time. Loaned a prior 13" Ultimate & SunRay S-12 (12.5").

Some Oldest Silver- 1835 Bust Dime, 1842 "O" Seated Dime, 1855 Seated Quarter, 1858 3 Cent Piece, 1891 Seated Dime, & another Seated Quarter too damaged to read date. Highest Value- 3 Cent Piece, Seated Quarter, & now 1921 F-12 Standing Liberty. Oldest Coin? Got to give large cents a good look & see. 2013 so far- 1 Seated Quarter, 1 Barber Quarter, 1 Standing Liberty, 2 Washingtons, 1 Barber Dime, 9 Mercs, 3 Rosies. 1 War Nickel. 19 silvers in total, & 1 1872 key date Indian, 2 Bufallos, 1 man's 14K gold medium sized ring & 1 gold chain, with possibility of few 8"+ deep mystery coins being Indians after cleaning.

What matters in life is the journey and not the desitination. How you handle that journey determines if you were a success, not so much what you achieved if and when you finally get there, especially if you made it by stepping on people along the way...

I'm with Derrell , I don't see how Bryce has time to do what he does .He puts a lot of time into two forums here , answers Emails , has family responsibilities and has to earn a living besides . I would hope he could get more time to relax , detect more , ride his Bike or whatever keeps his mind right . I'm thankful he posted this post so we can see how well the Ultimate coil worked with his Explorer and appreciate the time he has given of himself to help us all out . Based on by what he has shown here and what I have read on this coil on other forums I would say this is a great coil . Don't forget the fact that he tests these coils at sites both he and many others have pounded the heck out of for years . Thanks for everything Bryce .:beers:
