WWII Aviator Observer Pin

Found this today at an old school yard. Took me a while to find a reference but it appears to be a vintage sterling silver WWII aviator observer pin. It is about 2 inches and was issued to any flight crewmen aside from the pilot.

I currently still swing my XS-II I bought late 2002 and have a SE-Pro as a back-up. I also have some coils and use the Sun-Ray X1 probe and DetectorPro "Grey Ghost Originals"
