Military Pin Find near Fort Vancouver

I took my kids to a park near Fort Vancouver yesterday for about an hour.

I pulled out my SE Pro with the WOT coil and decided to take a spin across this heavily hunted park using conductive sounds and a 22 iron mask.

I found some clad, a casing and bullet... and a collar pin from the Army 7th Rifle Infantry that I believe was garrisoned at the Fort in the late 20's to early 30's. I was hoping for some silver, but I like this even better. It gave me a solid dime/quarter tone/cursor at was at about 6". I found an eagle button in same park earlier this summer. As they say.. sites are never hunted out.

Nice collar disc. I've only found the newer WWII types.

Thanks Doug!! It is pretty crusty, but I guess after 80 or 90 years in the ground, I wouldn't look as good ;)

Outstanding, Tim!

Looks like you are doing a real nice job of getting your mind wrapped around Conductive sounds with 22 Iron Mask. Bryce Brown would be proud! ;)
