Exactly Ralph. Just wait until the interest rates on the 30 year treasury notes go from 3.5% to 6.5% interest rate in just one year on a 16 trillion$$$ debt. Right now, we pay 3.5%. which is 560 billion just for the interest alone in one year. Now increase it to 6.5%. Greece is currently at around 9%. For the US, that is 1 trillion 40 billion $$$$ per year just for the interest rate alone. Now, take on the other government expenditures on top of that. As Jack Hoffman says on the Alaskan Gold show, "We could be Finished for the season".

And just to think, Go Rebs is squawking about the laffer curve THEORY. He needs to learn more about what X and Y means to solve for the more correct equation.
