Any bigbox hardware stores sell alternative coil mounting washers for a Sovereign GT ?

First off thank you to the members who helped me with my previous questions about lower rods for the GT.

Does any of the big box stores sell good alternative rubber washers for coil and rod mounting on my SOV GT? The wearing down of the Minelab teardrop rubber washers can cause scoring to the coil ears and thus resulting in a floppy coil susceptible to coil ear breakage. Yes, I said floppy like swinging a big cinnamon bun in the air that is floppy. I have never had a coil break on me, YET. My chronic OCD requires that I clean and do a complete white glove inspection of my GT every time we get home from an excursion. I take care of my equipment and yet, I turn into a banshee over maintenance issues that other detectorists rightfully and calmly shrug off. I have been seen in the field and questioned by the land owner if I had a metal detector or a shot gun out there in his field. Apparently I did not realize that I was being watched by an old man from a distance, as I spent 15 minutes in the field staring down the length of my GT like it was a shot gun. Embarrassingly I was making sure my coil, meter, and arm cup were lined up straight on my GT before I even started detecting. From a distance I looked like I was up sizing up a deer on a blind date a with a slug. We laughed about it for a good while and still talk about it every time I see him in the spring to detect his land. I envy the guys and gals, who are rightfully only concerned that their machine turns on pulls up the goods, I want to enjoy the bliss of having a machine that has duct tape on the battery box, and an lcd screen that looks like someone rubbed a snickers bar across a windshield. As long as the thing turns on and finds "roundness" and "nectar". Yes I am referencing that show on TV. Doing cartwheels over an Indian head, or a fist pump over a skeleton key is odd to even a sea cucumber to watch.

Ok I am going way beyond the intention of this post.
Here are my two questions.

Question#1
Can I buy alternative rubber washers rather than using the Minelab teardrop rubber washers?
I need exact dimensions and details. When I walk into the big box store I don't want to attract the attention of the orange apron league. I would love to get there with dimensions and what aisle I should look in.
Efficiency matters.I realize I may need to stack the washers in the clevis to fit firmly between the coil ears. My objective is to prevent the rod actually touching the coil ears.
I DO NOT like the Minelab teardrop washers. They wear down quickly

Question #2
See question #1.
Man this OCD

HH
Thanks in advance.
Jason
