Hello Rick,

We both go way back with the Sovereign, I still remember my first sovereign hunt and didn't have a clue what I was doing. Even with being lost, managed to get a Rosie dime that day.

Back then, everything was big. SunRay probe box was bigger than today's detectors, coils were solid not open like today's, Sovereign control box with meter mounted above handle, yards of coil cable running along the shaft. How we managed back then is amazing, and it took a good year to learn the Sovereign.

Good to see you're still out there Rick, you take care and hope you're retired by now you sure works hard back then.
