There have been two water spills ever to me. In both cases, my own mistake. Once used for old O-rings, the second time I used too small gaskets. The second leak was dangerous because it happen in salt water. Luckyly i can recognize the leak quickly. Opened the tube, and dried out. After thorough cleaning on mainboard, work fine! (corrosion, etc) I love my Excal Blue, robust like an tank:)
Since then I've been more cautious.
