yes SL405MX & SL175FX need both if doing the Compadre and want to plug the coil for use on other 5 pin Tesoro's or back on the Compadre.

Gonna do an amigo 2 conversion. I got both plugs. I hear people say there is not enough room inside the amigo for the base mount plug. So I am just going to affix a small box to the shaft and have the plug slightly forward from the housing.

AJ is correct on the Switchcraft connections and numbers, makes the install look as clean as factory. For parts; Mouser is $$. plus $ shipping on top. Arrowdotcom is $ and free shipping. I was in the market and considering making up a 3' extension cable, found the opposing female cord end (SL-415FX part #). Only supplier I could find was Mouser, at $25.22 plus shipping, for that part alone. This makes buying the Tesoro factory extension cord a true bargain. Just saying.
