Gardiner explosive & New Austrian bullets

Great recoveries! I would love to one day dig a New Austrian.

Do your research about North Carolina troop positions & movements. I've dug over one thousand bullets & have only dug two of those. It doesn't hurt to a little lucky. Good equipment is very important.

I have a copy of " The Official Military Atlas of the Civil War ," & it contains a wealth & maps of battle sites , etc. At times you can find these present day sites just by looking at the maps in it.

I have the same thing on cdrom. It's invaluable as a tool.
