coil cover or truck liner?

I was talking to my Uncle about buying a coil cover and he told me he was reading about using aproxie or a spray on truck liner instead. Because with the coil covers they end up getting sand in them and you have to stop to take the sand out of them. Another thing was falsing once the sand got into the coil covers. Anyone ever use spray on truck liners and what are your experiences with them? Comments on how coil covers fair are welcome too.

I have coil covers

On the inside of my covers is my name and my phone number. If they ever get stolen I MIGHT get them back with that identifying information on them. No crook is smart enough to take the covers off. Just my 2¢.

On the salt water beaches with lots of black sand, I have had coil covers fill with enough black sand that the response to targets changed very significantly. With the CZ it seems to have a very detrimental affect on detecting mid-range conductors (gold). Since figuring that out, I've chosen to go without coil covers. Have not yet seen enough wear to need to coat the coils. I figure if I do, it will probably be with marine epoxy.
