Anyone using a CZ7?

I still have my CZ7 and am thinking that I should take it out for a spin soon. I kept it as a backup.

Does anyone still use this machine and how are you doing with it these days?

No but I bought one new the year they were introduced.. A great machine but if I didn't pull the batteries it drained them pretty quick.
If I still had one I would put small power but to turn it off after a hunt a therefore open the circuit.

Supertrag, I sent mine back and ask for them to change the contacts because I felt that the single metal plate drained the batteries,

I use my CZ70 Pro everyday and do very well with it. Been hunting with one for the past 16 years. I just bought another one last month right on this Forum that was an absolutely mint, well kept closet queen CZ and came with the hard case, Fisher headphones and all the paperwork and video with it. The original owner had bought it new, used it three times and put it back in the hard case. Like using a brand new CZ 70! It's a 112 serial number and it goes deep and I can run the sensitivity all the way up. I'll be buying a 10 1/2" coil for it and that should give me another inch or two in depth. I have been finding a lot of very nice coins and relics this past month with it. I will be getting an E Trac soon but will always love using my CZ70.

Cool CZ70, and good luck with the Etrac. I have the EXP II and love it.

C Z7 the hipmount only model had a slow pinpoint and used batteries when turned off....all this was corrected with the CZ7A.
Excellent unit and as good as the other CZ models....first digital model ....
