Is it worth the money for the 10.5" coil for my Fisher CZ 6A? How much more depth should I get?
Thanks

I got 2" plus with the bigger coil. One sad note..it also seemed to hit more, and deeper nails. I didn't mind the trade off for the silver dimes I found though.
Their were a nice amount in the 8 to 9" range it seemed.......
I also found many Indianhead Buffalo nickels at that range.

Not much more depth in my area but seems to like coins on edge and does increase coverage...Downside its heavy and in most cases may have to hipmount unit...

How much do you think it weighs?
Thanks

Just put the ones I have on a scale ...
10.5 inch coil with cable is 26.6 ounces
8 inch coil with cable is 18.2 ounces

Neither coil is a light weight; but the weight of the larger coil is very noticeable when swinging it; at least it is for me.

And as noted above, in most conditions the 10.5 inch coil gets me an inch or maybe a little more depth; but it also masks more than the smaller coil.
