MXT Proves Performance Today!

I only had a couple of hours to get out today due to having garden and yard work to do so I decided to see if my mxt would pull any more coins out of and area I have pounded over the last 10 years most recently with my DFX. I got to the area ground balanced the machine and cranked the gain all the way up! I now have no doubts about the performance and power of the MXT it is one great machine! I found a 1901 O barber dime- A 1918 D mercury dime- A watch case opener advertising Keystone watch cases and a local jeweler from the 1800s - A wheat penny and 3 newer coins. I am very happy with the case opener due to the fact that it has local advertising on it and I am very partial to tokens or anything with advertising on it. All I can say is man am I impressed with this machine......

Yep! MXT is a solid workhorse that can run with the thoroughbreds. Nice bunch of finds.

The watch case opener was at around 7 or 8 inches and both dimes where at I would guess 5-6 inches. I broke my good digger that had depth measurements on it yesterday because the ground was so dry so I am using my back up now.

I owned all of the top end machines from fisher and mine lab. The MXT is still with me the others, long gone. Great detector at half the cost! I'll never let her go.

Thanks and good hunting,

That is what has happened to me, my first real detector was the MXT and after that the fisher f75, Sov GT and Etrac, i have just purchased a MXT Pro and all the other detectors are going as the MXT is far more simple and just as deadly as the more complicated Etrac and so on.

Great finds! I have sold my MXT's and tried other machines but always end up missing it so I just got anther one today. Even with a V3i I will still keep a MXT in my stable a true thoroughbred
