Shame On Me For Buying Brand X

" A Man Has His Creed, And Mine Is All Greed"

I, for health reasons, decided that my trusty MXT was just too heavy for me to work with, much over a couple of hours a day. I decided that I should be working several hours a day.

So greed lead me to buy brand X, a lighter detector, less bells and whistles, but one that on paper, should be just as good at finding gold jewelry. It is a typical, so called, beep and dig machine. Nice detector, fairly inexpensive, and can be worked easily for many hours in a day.

I have owned this detector for 2 or 3 months now, and my "GOLD" finds, have diminished down to nothing. I chalked it up to luck of the draw.
Then I started to work behind it with another, same Brand X detector and was finding things it was missing, but very little GOLD.
So after a 5 month retirement, I got out the MXT and Guess What? I'm finding GOLD again.

Lesson Learned?
It is far better to be productive 2 hours a day, then swing your stuff all day for nothing in the HOT SUN.
I will never put my MXT down again for another.

Here is the best of the finds of 2 one hour hunts with the MXT. The one ring is just a cheapy.

when you find the machine that better works for you don't throw it away just because the hype. But sometimes is nice to try other machine to compare behaviour and response

Bring that gold home!

I did the same thing. Put away my MXT PRO and got me a cheapy lightweight detector. Gave that one to my six year old grandson. What junk! Never again.
