15 weeks and waiting right now although I was told there were less non warranty jobs sent in October which they haven't started on yet......so your wait time "may be" shorter.

Maybe you get attached to a certain machine. But you couldn't accept that kind of service on your auto, heating furnace, reefer, pc computer, or anything else. Time to vote with your feet, and say "see you later!"

New newsletter from Andy Sabich included a letter from Minelab acknowledging the problem and promising action mid-year. Looked to me they hope to open a second US repair and will start selling parts to dealers for minor replacement repairs. A bit late but better late than never! Kudos if and when it happens!

I saw that and thought I will believe it when I see it. They have had almost a year to address the situation and have done nothing so far. As an Old Retailer I can honestly say that Minelab Has the absolute worst customer service that I have ever seen.

I hope I am wrong but I honestly believe they are just blowing smoke.

Mine has been in repair since Nov. I am sure they will do a good job.

They "Kelly" Minicab received my machine early Oct 2016. I called to check the status and was told they are hitting early Oct repairs next week!! Four months and that is a warranty job... It's killing me....
