Ole Neptune smiled on me this morning !

Wasn't supposed to wade hunt. No wet suit, small beach scoop, 15 "Mono coil , on my Infinium, pulse induction.
Well waves decided to settle down, in I went good start and all. Zinc penny, 2 tent pegs, than what's this! 14K. Diamond ring. Everything intact. Big kicker, no I'd.
Just a matter of being in the wrong place at the right time. Gulf waters, Florida

Congratulations! How did it ring up? A high/low? I call it a heehaw. Did you check the reverse and if so did the sound change? But I bet you were just digging every signal. Would be interesting to know. Best of luck.

James, If you can Imagine, hi/lo. Not as drawn out as a tab, more near a zincer. But a little better. I wasn't sure, but I knew it was iffy enough it had to be dug. Mr Dual Field, (my pal) Dug two out of same area this winter along with mine today.
Mine today, waist deep, not more than 4-5 inches. But because of the small scoop I was using took a little work to corner it. Ring was just my fourth target, after which I quit for the day.
