My favorite coil started giving me trouble suddenly. It's a 6" Excelerator EQ2 Pro used with my DFX. It now just screams and registers 'OVERLOAD' constantly. Is it fried or is there anything I can do to save it? Appreciate any help that's out there.

Sounds like it has to go back to Kellyco if it has any warranty left. If it is out of warranty you might want to open it up yourself to see if there is anything you can do for it. You can start by wiggleing the cable and see if it might be in the plug.

Thanks Larry. No warranty so I'll check the cable and have a look inside the coil as a last resort. It couldn't hurt it any more since it doesn't work at all right now.

Fixed it. It was a loose wire at the connection and was able to adjust it and cover with hot glue. Works like new.
