My Last hunt before the ground froze

Last year was quite warm here in Ontario. I had to get out for one last hunt before the wood splitting started. I went to a school yard that had very large trees around the property. I took my time swining the coil and got a hit. Listened again and it was solid and yet almost broken. I decided to make the spot with my golf tees I keep for just such times. After I went back to the spot and this other detectorist came over and asked what I found. I said a golf tee!!! I dug down 6 inches and there it was a 50cent piece with a penny on the side of it. I went and dug up the other tees and came away with old Canadian coppers and a few silver nickles.
