Can someone enlighten me what the difference between the gti pro coil and the gti scorcher and the dd coil.Many thanks NIGEL.

The Scorcher is the old, round, hollow design which wasn't too stable in some cases and subject to damage if abused. The Pro-Formance is a solid, epoxy-filled, elliptical coil, solid as a rock, and more stable. The DD coil is designed for penetrating mineralized ground and more coverage per swing as it detects the same depth from end to end and has no receiver for pinpointing, plus better target separation due to its winding configuration. It doesn't discriminate as well as a concentric and loves bottle caps.
