Hello! Im kinda new at this but Here goes....
I own a small Taxi/Private Car Service/Touring business up here near Acadia Nat'l Park. Before that I owned and antique store for years in Ellsworth Maine. Ive Been
interested in the detecting hobby for years but just this summer I picked up an older Garrett 350 in great shape shape from a fella and so far have had allot of fun! I haven't found the Maltese Falcon or A treasure Chest yet but I'm working on it.
Other hobby's are restoring vintage electric or manual shop tools, American Brilliant period Victorian Cut glass, Old bottles etc. I wish everyone well and good fortune this "Swinging Season"!.....I know I'M going too!

Just went over 21 in the Navy

'Holy metal detecting Batman, there's a ton of talent on this site.'
'That's an understatement. I'd be careful about blowing your horn here Robin.'
'Point taken Batman.'

'I'm a survivor. Am just learning the basics of detecting.'

'That'll do for now Robin.'

I was raised in my dads garage/service station
I was a professional auto mechanic for 10 years and jumped ship to work on big stuff.
I've been a millwright/mobile heavy equipment maintenance tech since the mid 90's specializing in electric drive systems, but I do a bit of everything, on everything. I prefer being the company electrical geek though. I like fixing things with a multimeter and a soldering iron more than I do with wrenches and sledge hammers. :)

I am also half owner in a small (more of a hobby than anything lately) firearms business.
I also have a full machine shop that I put together in my garage. I fabricate a lot of my own stuff from scratch, as well as do small jobs for other people....I also dabble in a bit of gunsmithing for myself and friends from time to time.
