garrett repair

has anyone had any experience with garrett repair? have a pinpointer shot craps 6 month old ,called was told it would be a 4 day turn around. mailed it 2nd of may, still have not recieve it. called numerous times many different stories should have taken it back to cabbelas.

a lot of dealers of mds don't do repairs. in fact i don't know of any that do. they at the most would have sent the pointer on to garrett and you'd be no better off. most stories of deals with garrett are good. every now and again a bad story comes out. yours is that story. all it seems you can do is keep pestering garrett for your devise.

It pays to deal DIRECTLY with Garrett, no matter where you got the machine from, Garrett is the ultimate owner of the brand...It will save you time and hassles.

the point was, i believe, that he was dealing with garrett but wasn't hearing back in a timly manner or not at all.

I had great results with Garrett customer service. The repair quote that they gave me wasn't bad but the upgrade discount they gave me on my AT PRO was too good to pass up. They weren't slow per say, but I definitely was the one following up with them and they didn't seem bothered by my calls at all.
